INSTRUCTIONS
- First, you pour old fashioned oats (half a cup) into a desert bowl or you can use microwave-proof cereal bowl. When you already get use to making this recipe, you will notice that half a cup is more or less at least 1/3 or 1/2 of the bowl, of course this depends upon the shape and size of the bowl.
- This is an option which you may or may not follow: add a dash of salt to give more flavour to the oats.
- Next, pour water right into the bowl. Be sure the water reaches right on top of the oats.
- Then use the microwave to cook the oats. Set it on high temperature for about 2-3 minutes. (The mileage will vary.)
- For garnishing and more flavour to the oats, you can top it off with either or combination of the following: raisins, brown sugar, honey, banana slices, strawberries or whatever you prefer.
- Serve and chill. Let the bowl of oats get cool for about 2-3 minutes and start enjoy!
